![]() ![]() (THIS IS A VERY FITTING NAME.) It’s eight acts of backstory and…pain. ![]() Just to remind you: This is a dating sim with pigeons, and that’s not the weirdest thing about this game.Įventually, I unlocked an arc called Bad Boys Love, aka, Hurtful Boyfriend. (Which way would you swipe if he was on Tindr?) Iwamine Shuu, the psychotic partridge who performs experiments on students? Well he’ll profess his love to Hiyoko’s severed head (which is lovingly kept in a jar) before he commits suicide. Don’t end up with a boyfriend? Well, she’s shot dead. In fact, in some of them, Hiyoko gets killed. Rarely did the endings result in anything happy. The more I played and got to know these birds, the less I found myself laughing, Espionage? Biological warfare? Hidden identities? Filipino megalomaniac transfer students? Check, check, check, and (ooooh boy) check. After going out of her way to woo this depressed little dove, Nageki ultimately warms up to Hiyoko and professes his love…before she realizes that he’s actually dead and that the power of her love has allowed his spirit to finally be released from the school. Next up was the quiet freshman Fujishiro Nageki, a mourning dove who spends all his time in the library. And Ryouta admits that likes Hiyoko, too. Ultimately, Hiyoko confesses her feelings to Ryouta while he’s grieving over the death of his mother. (Ryouta’s dad is deceased.) Throughout the school year, Hiyoko successfully brings her relationship with Ryouta to the next level. Ryouta is sickly, but that doesn’t stop him from working multiple jobs to help support his also-ailing mother. The first pigeon Hiyoko courted was fellow sophomore Kawara Ryouta, a rock dove who is Hiyoko’s very good friend. Legumentine’s Day (a cross between Valentine’s Day and Setsubun). This is achieved by participating in activities they may enjoy (such as student government, track and field, and summoning demons from Hell) and buying their affections on St. Her goal is to mingle with her feathered male classmates and ultimately couple up with one of them. ![]() Enter Tosaka Hiyoko, the lone human student at the renowned St. If you take it at face value, it’s a very silly premise.
